Actum Portal: Navigating the Portal’s Menu Options
The Actum Portal provides an array of information to monitor the latest information and trends with a merchant’s Actum Processing account. Data about transaction statuses, returns, customer data, and monthly statements are readily available for access.
Whether the portal is accessed for the first time or as a refresher, this article provides information about navigating the Actum Portal and its left side menu options.
Logging Into Actum Portal
1. Log in to the Actum Portal at https://merchant.actumprocessing.com. Refer to the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): How to Use via Actum Portal article for further login instructions.
2. Then, click on the preferred two-step verification delivery method.
3. Now, enter the six digit code and click on Verify to proceed.
4. Next, select the applicable ParentID from the ParentID Selector and choose Go to Reporting.
Home Page
After selecting the ParentID, the Actum Processing account’s primary page populates as shown below.
- • Return Report
Generally speaking, this report delves into an account’s three most important Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) during the current month for compliance. Namely, this report analyzes the number of Administrative Returns, Unauthorized Returns and Total Returns versus the number of submitted Pre-auths (Pre-authorizations) and Debits.
- • Merchant Limits
Overall, this snapshot advises about a merchant’s processing limits for Debits and Credits. All things considered, this data proves helpful in determining any declines along with understanding potential needs due to business growth. However, for Credits, other than for the Number Per Day and Number Per Month, these are not hard set limits; rather, these consider the Credit Reserve balance.
- • Reserve Balances
Altogether, this mini report provides a glimpse into an account’s Credit Reserve and Debit Reserve balance along with the Most Recent Deposit for the Debit Reserve. While the Credit Reserve is the funds used to issue Credit transactions, the Debit Reserve is the funds held within an Actum account for a high-risk merchant account in the event of a large return or chargeback.
- • Transaction Activity
Chiefly, particular graphical chart breaks down multiple types of activities with an Actum account, including Settlements, Debits, Returns and Credits, if applicable.
